Rockpool Residency: Unseen Worlds is a site-responsive event centred upon Nielsen Park, situated on the ancestral lands of the Birrabirragal People.
Led by Floorplan Studio, Rockpool Residency: Unseen Worlds delves into the unique ecology and enduring cultural history of this heritage-listed site, to inspire a deeper appreciation of the natural world.
The event features an exhibition of works by contemporary Sydney artists, cultural engagement activities led by Dr. Shane Ingrey, and the launch of the Floorplan x Nielsen Park field guide.
By nurturing collaborations among artists, designers, residents, cultural practitioners, marine biologists and ecologists, Rockpool Residency: Unseen Worlds reveals the multifaceted significance of this cherished site.
