Jacqueline Field
The colourfield works of local artist Jacqueline Field are created for feeling and inhabiting. Appealing to the senses rather than reason, the works assembled for Light are luminous and meditative. Composed of painted sheer silk organza and oil paint, Field orchestrates a symphony of shapes and colours that dance with fluctuations in light and the movement of the viewer. With each piece taking its name from music terminology, the sensory dimension of the series is emboldened, further still.
