Join Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize 2024 Finalist Minka Gillian for a Young Creators Soft Sculpture Workshop at the Gallery

Discover the Art of Balance with Woollahra Small Sculpture Prize Artist Minka Gillian's Young Creators Soft Sculpture Workshop, perfect for young artists aged 10+!

In this hands-on workshop, participants will:

  • Craft unique double-sided soft sculptures
  • Explore balance in art and nature
  • Transform recycled materials into art
  • Experiment with wire, beads, netting, and more

This workshop delves into the concept of balance. Under Minka Gillian's guidance, participants will learn to create texture, weight, and symmetry in double-sided sculptures while developing an understanding of sustainability through creative reuse. They'll design and assemble original artworks, present their creations to the group and reflecting on their artistic choices.
