In this workshop you will learn some basic principles of animation and explore the surreal and playful possibilities of collage in motion. We will look at some examples of collage animation and then work through the stages of production from planning, to editing and sound.
Come and enjoy watching your imagination come to life in your own short animated film!

What to bring | Students will need to bring their own smartphone or tablet (e.g., iPhone or iPad). Students will also need to download the free software "Stopmotion studio". All other materials will be provided.
Refund policy | For a full refund, cancel your registration at least 3 days before the event date. Please note that booking fees are not refundable.
Transport and parking | The Gallery can be reached via public transport (buses 324, 325 or 326, or walk from Edgecliff Station or Double Bay Wharf). After-hours parking is available at Council Chambers (536 New South Head Rd, Double Bay NSW 2028). If you are arriving via UBER or Taxi please request a drop-off or collection at the Council Chambers.
