To celebrate Mardi Gras, our February class features two models and is facilitated by artist Hal Witney, who will be exhibiting in the gallery.
Life drawing is a wonderful opportunity to explore the human form through observation and sketching. In this class, you’ll be guided through various drawing techniques and encouraged to capture the beauty, movement, and expression of the models. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class offers a relaxed environment for all skill levels to develop their artistic practice.
The session will begin with quick gesture drawings to loosen up, followed by longer poses allowing for more detailed work. Hal Witney, the facilitator, will offer tips and guidance as you work, helping you refine your technique and build confidence.
Expect a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere, with light refreshments available to keep you refreshed as you work. You’ll have the chance to meet fellow artists, engage in creative discussions, and enjoy the energy of the Mardi Gras theme as it influences the models' poses and the overall vibe of the evening.
