Liz Nowell

Liz Nowell is a curator and cultural leader with over 15 years’ experience working in Australian and international contemporary art. She is currently Executive Director of Arts Project Australia, a leading creative social enterprise that supports artists with intellectual disabilities and advocates for their inclusion in the arts sector. Prior to this, she was Executive Director of the Institute of Modern Art, founding Director of Adelaide Contemporary Experimental, and CEO of the Contemporary Art Centre of South Australia. Major curatorial projects include Rainbow Serpent (Version): Daniel Boyd (IMA, Brisbane); Yhonnie Scarce: Missile Park (co-curator, IMA, Brisbane and ACCA, Melbourne); Making Art Work (IMA, Brisbane); CREATURE: Marianna Simnett (co-curator, IMA, Brisbane and City Gallery Wellington); and The Violet Ballet, Sally Smart (ACE, Adelaide).

Jarrod Rawlins

Jarrod Rawlins

Jarrod Rawlins is Director of Curatorial Affairs at the Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) in Hobart, Tasmania. Since his appointment in 2013, he has worked on exhibitions, performances and commissions with many artists, including Marina Abramović, Matthew Barney, Daniel Boyd, Christoph Büchel, Mat Collishaw, Simon Denny, Marco Fusinato, Gilbert & George, Alfredo Jaar, Anthony McCall, Hermann Nitsch, Mike Parr and United Visual Artists. Before moving to Tasmania, Rawlins was the owner and co-founder of Uplands Gallery in Melbourne (2000–11). He is a graduate of the Art History program at the University of Melbourne, where he was also a tutor and part-time lecturer in art history and theory.

Erin Vink

Erin Vink is a Ngiyampaa curator and writer, living and working on Gadigal ngura. Currently, she is Curator, First Nations art (local and global) at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney. Her recent curatorial projects include Daniel Boyd: Treasure Island (2022-23, co-curated with Isobel Parker Philip), The National 2021: New Australian Art (2021), and Exposure: Native Art and Political Ecology (2021-23, the Museum of Contemporary Native American Arts, Sante Fe). Vink is an alumnus of the National Gallery of Australia’s Indigenous Arts Leadership program, and she currently serves as the chair of Art Monthly Australasia (2022-). Her writing has been published extensively.
